Turbo GSR, when do you open the IAB's???
Have a gsr head on an ls bottom end with a t3/t04b.
tuning with chrome pro, but not sure when to open iab's.
i opened them at vtec, 4400 rpm, and my a/fs got leaner, so i figured i was using more air, BUT that doesnt mean im making more hp cause the volumetric efficiency could have dropped.
the more i think about it, i feel it should be back at 5600 rpm because the runners were tuned for an rpm.
any ideas/suggestion??
I am dynoing it, so ill figure this all out in concrete then, but i want some opinions
thanks

There was a nice discussion about this on Jeff Evan's forum, good info regarding the use of longer runners to aid in low speed velocity and watching for the right cross over, head over to his forum and search for it.

Different setups will yeild different results. Assuming your setup is identical or nearly as the setup the gave that info on, you'll be fairly well set. Ultimatley though you wanna verify this on a dyno when possible.
