turbo gsr cuts out when MAP reads 3.1 volts w/ missing link
My integra is cutting out. The AFC never reads positive pressure( unless I keep missing it because I'm looking at my revs) I took a friend for a ride and he hooked up his hand held diagnostics. Every time the map read 3.1 it would cut. as soon as it hit 3.1 volts. what does this mean? Is my missing link bad? What should I do? Any help would be great.

Re: turbo gsr cuts out when MAP reads 3.1 volts w/ missing link (horror)
Well MAP sensor voltage is ~2.75v at 0 vac/psi so 3.1 means its boosting and your ECU is seeing it

So is the missing link bad? Do I need a gm 3 bar? Can I put a resistor on the map sensor to reduce the voltage?

well. i'm using something to bleed off the air to the map sensor(its one of the things they put in a fish tank..) so it won't know that i'm boosting that way i don't get a check engine light. while i'm boosting... if that helps good if not!! i dunno.. sorry!

You only have one check valve? Your not throwing a code? I had 7 check valves on my car and it was still cutting out. Is there anything better than a missing link?

Your MAP sensor is seeing boost, that's your problem. Take off the missing link and clean it. I had the same thing happen when I used a ML, just cleaned the little bleeder hole on the side and it was A-ok

What do you mean clean the bleeder hole? As far as I can tell it's clean. I tried removing the filter that goes in that hole and my car ran like ****. I think the missing link is bad. Does anybody have one for sell cheap?

There's a little pin hole opening on the side of the missing link, stick a pin through it and make sure it's clean. Mine was blocked by some dirt.

Yup just like a missing link... Bolts on the throttle body where the stock MAP sensor resides, then it runs a vaccumm hose through a "check vavle" to the MAP sensor... PM me for details...

i hope this is my problem to!
i have a 99 accord running @7psi, i thought it was the FMU. so we're suppose to clean the missing link every once in awhile? when i first installed my kit, it ran perfect, then after a month or soo, it started to do that, not actually cut out, but the power just cuts out, then if i back off the throttle, and go into the pedal smoothly, it runs alright, but even then it'll sometimes bogs.......i hope thats what it is!
