Turbo is finally back IN.....pics....dialup beware
After uninstalling my drag setup for emissions test, I went out and got an Inline Pro manifold and sold my drag manifold. Then I decided to make a new downpipe because the drag downpipe wouldn't line up, so I went ahead and made a 3" downpipe. And then Kurt (immortal) sold me his 3" thermal cat-back. Then I had to make a custom dumptube for the wastegate. And needed more clearance, so I got fal fans (which got melted JUST ALITTLE) hahaha. I didnt want to make a custom intake as well....so what do you know....if you turn around the drag intake setup...it works PERFECTLY!!
HERE IT IS....finally....

Re: Turbo is finally back IN.....pics....dialup beware (integra7)
few questions,
1. Do you havre ac in your car?
2. How much space did u need for the fans?
Sorry for all the questions, im just trying to figure out my cooling setup.
I have a max rev mani and wondering if i can fit FAL fans instead of mounting aftermarket fans in the front as pushers.
LOOKS GOOD

Re: Turbo is finally back IN.....pics....dialup beware (Cramerox)
I have the max rev mani as well and you should be able to use your stock fans with some modifications via the handy dremel. I cut the "center support" of the motor supports of the condensor fan and it cleared fine. I'm cutting the radiator fan motor supports and repostioning the fan 1-2 inched closer to the radiator. I'm waiting on my welder to close the wastegate pipe to fit everything up. I might have to move the whole radiator a bit, however I don't think so.

Looks nice. Now its time to get some jewelers rouge and polish the valve cover
Ive also heard those twisted filters are restrictive. Best bet IMO is a "Big Mouth Power Stack" as they are tested to flow the best and trap the most dirt.

Vu,
Nice Fan setup you got there looks pritty clean but they are still pritty close to the turbo and dump tube, I ended up sticking with the stock radiator fan I just cut and zip-tied it to the radiator....
I hope everything works out for you..... and please wish me the same

Sweet setup man.
Gotta love my dump tube. It started life as a Harley Davidson drag pipe. A little cutting and welding and now it exits right in front of the crank pulley about an inch below it.

TurboR481 - thanks man, Inline pro manifold is great but I wish i had more clearance with it like i had with the drag...
Cramerox - yes, i still have a/c. i got the fans and it gave me alot of room on the passenger side, and it was about the same on the driver side. You might want to talk to Dustin because he has the max-rex manifold and i think he had to sell his fal fans. soo ask him about that....
CheezeFrog - haha, thanks man...my dad welded that dumptube....dumps right below the oil return.
5speedv6 - I want to polish that valve cover, but i am too lazy man. Its gonna take forever! haha and I'll probably get a k&n filter soon...
newgsr - haha, thanks for the fans....if you look at one of those pics...you see my dumptube fucken melted alittle bit of it already. I'm just gonna wrap it with thermal header wrap. good luck on your project!!
thanks for the comments guys.....

hey, who made the custom downpipe? I need to make one soon, i had to hack up my Drag downpipe to make it work with the inline pro manifold. BUt its leaking slightly and I decided to just get a 3 inch downpipe.

BG Boost: I made it myself. Order yourself some U-Bends and a Flex section and you are set
2K_teg: thanks...yeah, those are fal fans
inspyral: melted oem radiator, how lovely
I got the fans from newgsr, who bought them and couldn't use them with his setup..
