Turbo F20B CF4 Accord SiR-T
Hi, This my Accord which i have been messing with for a wee while now.
So i finally took it to have the road tune checked on the dyno to see what power i are making.
It made 317whp on 12psi and 9.5 compression. The sudden power drop at the end is because i had forgot the rev limit was only set at 7200rpm instead of 7800rpm and never told the dyno operator to raise it
F20B stock block, Skunk2 valve springs, 2mm headgasket, ARP head bolts, Euro R intake manifold, Link G4 Atom ECU
GT3076 spec turbo

Nice looks good... 78k thick headgasket to get 9.5-1 compression... timing must be tad different...
smart choice on droping the compression probably will add to longevity

Re: Turbo F20B CF4 Accord SiR-T
Cam timing or ignition timing? Cam timing was way out so had to set that back up to match TDC. Then because F20B's have Type S/Euro R spec cams i had to dial out some overlap to make power on vtec.
Im not really sure about the ignition timing compared to stock as i made a map up in my ECU modelled of a stock H22a then road tuned it to suit.
The headgasket was used because our fuel is **** and i wanted it to last.
Goes well for a heavy car.

hi i am a fellow f20b user and i have boosted mine as well. would you care sharing some info back and forth about our builds? I have not got to the dyno yet and am curious how close that i have got my ignition tables in comparison to another f20.

What ecu are you running? All the info about my car is stated just about the first photo.
What mods have you done to your engine?

I am using the p28 chipped with an s300 for hondata and i built the engine from the bottom using..
bisimoto spec arias pistons 11:1
KS balance deltete and manual tensioner
stock sleeves bored to 86mm from 85mm
stock head with normal h22 spec cams (less Agressive for boost ?)
t3 48 AR Godspeed turbo (Currently up to 10psi)
full 3'' exhaust right off turbo
480-490cc flow tested Bosch injectors
arp everything
cometic 0.060'' headgasket (due to piston to deck clearance)
Those are the main components that are coming to mind i have about 2 months of street driving and it is installed in a 92 cb7 accord 4 dr. Currently our temps are in the 30-40 degree f range dailey and im running 92 octane pump gas. The engine has not even came close to detonating yet and i still believe my ign tables are conservative. currently the engine has not revved up past 7000 because im not sure what it will take due to lack of info on these engines. my ign values are tuned up to 10 psi then they get real conservative. current values are 22 at 2psi down to 14 degrees of advance at 10psi.

Re: Turbo F20B CF4 Accord SiR-T
I run a Link G4 standalone ECU. My dizzy has standard 12deg base timing. My compression ratio is 9.7:1. At 12ish psi im running 19deg with no det. Our fuel here in New Zealand is 98 octane, im not sure what octane rating that relates to in the US.
I still run stock cams which are very aggressive for boost but with cam gears they have been set to make good power. The dyno graph does not represent true power as i should have run it up to the stock rev limit which is 7800rpm. I will have it back on the dyno this weekend so with more revs it should make a little more.
I do believe your turbo is too small to make top end hp. Im using a GT3076spec turbo with a .63AR rear housing.
Also your injectors may be at or very near their limit, I have 560cc injectors and at 12ish psi im at 80% duty cycle.
Another thing i've found with my build is that with both heads i've had on my car have had weak valve springs. I put Skunk2 tuner valve springs and the issues with valve float disappeared.
Have you done your conrods?
Send me your email in a P.M and i'll try to send you a Hondata file i have for a F20B.

Hey so I was wondering if you can send me that hondata file as well , so I can compare it to my tune , possibly even run it on.my f20b as well. I could find a way to PM you so if you could help me navigate how to get that file. Much appreciated.

it's a 10 year old post, and the person hasn't visited the site in nearly 3 years, so I'd say it's a little more than a long shot. Have you tried looking in the SManager vault to see if there are any F20B tunes saved in there you can compare your tune against?
