Turbo/exhaust sound muffling question

Okay. I was wondering exactky how is it possible to get turbo cars NOT to have the exhaust not flattened with a turbo?

I have bought F20B for my Prelude, and it gives steel liners, so I am considering turbo now, but I can't stand the sound of turbo Honda's. What combo of manifold/piping/ect gives this sound?

DO NOT WANT: I want to AVOID THIS flat sound:

DO Want: (Ignore the anti-lag, just the exhaust)

Basically I want to hear engine, similar to NA.

Your not making sense at all but your never gona make a honda not sound like a honda, its just the nature of the beast. What you can choose from is quiet vs loud. Its also a trade off of performance. Cats, resonators, and factory style mufflers will yield the quietest sound, yet you can still compensate for the restriction by using good headers and large pipes overall.

3 inch piping and an N1 style muffler with no cats or resonators will probably be your best bet.

The design of the engine, the way the ECU handles fuel, all these things can affect the "sound".

The Dodge SRT-4 didn't have a muffler, it used the turbo and one inline resonator to silence everything. It was good enough to meet all regulations and be sold from the factory. But they are also purposfully toyed with the ECU to give a gurgly sound instead of a farty sound.
