My cousin wants to turbocharge is eclipse , it a 1998 gs with a freshly rebuilt stock engine. Well any ways, would the parts list/procedure be the same a specified in the FAQ post for a Honda? Would any thing have to be different? Info is appreciated. Thanks

Id recommend to him to sell the car and buy a turbo eclipse to start with. The price difference is way less then how much it would cost to turbo the non-turbo. Its a much better place to start, and a much better engine (4g63).

yup start with the stock 4G motor. The neon powerplant he just wasted all his money on doesn't even compare.
Reminds me of the VW im boosting for someone right now. He had his 2.0 8v rebuilt for some reason when you can pick them up with under 100k for about $75 all over this area. instead he has fresh, stock engine that cost him probably over 700 bucks. what a waste of $, but he wont hear anything like that
Its weird how people let their misconceptions drain their bank accounts. Try your hardest to not let that happen to your cousin, regardless of how "sweet" his rebuild is.
