hey guys,

how are you H Series guys running you coolant lines to and from your turbos?

i know the b series guys use the freeze plug on the front of the block and also tap the radiator. . . what are the H series guys doing?

pics and info would be appreciated

On the back of the block there should be a rubber hose that connects the the water pipe. You can T into that and use it as the feed. Then just use the top of the radiator as the return.

are you referring to the rubber hose that goes from the water pipe to the oem oil cooler under the oil filter?


on another note . . .

does anyone know if the drain plug that the b series guys use for the coolant feed thats on the front of the block near the engine stamp is just on the back of the block near the water pipe on a H series?

if so, is it the same thread as the b series plug?

then if its the same couldn't i use this plug in much the same way as the b series guys? all i'll need is a bit more line.

Weld a bung onto an aluminum radiator, then t in the fittings around the thermostat/throttle body area.

I ran the throttle body coolant to my turbo then back to the throttle

the coolant line to the FITV was probably the best idea, no modding other than a couple dollar hose, and really you could just block off the FITV entirly.
