turbo car questions
im bored so i decided to post a turbo question. Im picking up my dc2 gsr tomorrow i just has my turbo kit and many other goodies installed. my question is what kind of bugs do you guys normally run into. and what are the pains of owning a turbo honda? besides jack *** cops that pull u over 4 bullshit lol

ummm, buying into something you dont know about and will probably turn around and screw you is one i can think of.

no i didn't say i don't know about it. i wanted to know wat common problems do you guys run into. like fouled plugs and stuff of that nature. i invested 13k + in my car you actually think i would buy that much stuff without knowing what to buy. thats not the case.

You should have probably installed it your self if you knew about boosting your car, probably would have saved some $$, just my .02. Just invest in a good tune to min. problems

k, my bad. You might experiece an oil leak from some of you lines, but other than thati'd think it would be pretty safe with a good tune. Shouldn't act differently than a stock car. You might be spending more on tires now though

we got basically the same setup.
the only problem i ran into was blown turbo seals and breaking axles.
on that setup i put down 320 hp/ 300 tq at 12psi
ALso change ur oil every 2k miles. and run a turbo timer

she drives just like stock. i tried staying out of boost but got caught at a light on a steep hill, so when went up the hill it hit about 1psi and surprising to me the bov went off. i luv that fluttering sound. lol
