Default Turbo Build...need some help/advise/opinions

so after reading a bit in FI, I've decided to go turbo. Problem is I am getting confused with a couple things. Here is the list of parts I have compiled thus far. My questions will be at the end of the list.

Precision SC61 turbo
Spoolin Performance IC pipes and Downpipe
Tial 38mm Wastegate
Undecided on the BOV
GM 3 Bar Map sensor
550 CC injectors (can't decide what brand or what type)
Drag Manifold
JRC intercooler
Walboro 255 in tank
MSD 6AL
Apexi N1 3 inch all the way out from Kteller
Neptune Tuning

Its all going into my 96 LS/Vtec. I can't decide what injectors to get. I read that 550 is the max we can go (low Impedence), but could have sworn that I also read that you can go bigger. Do I have to upgrade the fuel rail also? Am I missing anything? Any help, comments, opinions would be helpful. Thanks.

low impedence(peak and hold) go up to 1600 i think or so. high impedence (saturated what your stock injectors are) go up to 750 i think. peak and holds you will need a resistor box to run, but they allow you to use larger injectors like 780 880 1000cc.

I don't want to run a resistor box if I don't have to. I'm looking for around 300 hp so I don't think I need anything bigger then 550's. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Also...is a fuel rail upgrade needed? Thanks for the help so far....anyone else want to chime in

At 550cc, you maybe running it or close to full injector duty cycle. On boost always remember to keep fuel #1 priority on your list.

Only things I would add or change is:

ARP headstuds
Headgasket of some sort (guessing that your LS/VTEC is a bit on the high comp side)
fuel pump
Apexi N1 to Vibrant muffler (much quieter and stock looking)

Stock fuel rail is fine, a FPR may also be something else to consider

Stay away from the MSD as you wont need it

I was considering running 880cc injectors and the resistor box is on the way. I also have ARP headstuds already and was running a cometic gasket, but now am back to a stock GSR. Whats a good time to call you guys to get some prices?

You will be fine with 550 cc injectors for the HP you are looking for.
