turbo bike suggestions

i know this has nothin to do with a honda/acura car but it does have something to do with forced induction..... i now have a 04 kawasaki zx10r with a garret t3/to4e turbo.... im running 14 pounds with 250hp to the ground, its been dyno tuned and its running good... im just not liking the lag time i have on the turbo, the bike doesnt even start spoolin up til 8000 and the bike redlines at 12000 so im only gettin 4gs worth or boost... so my question is wut kind of turbo would you guys suggest for my bike cuz i know people that boost cars are most of the time smarter than people boosting bikes... and someone also has suggested me changing the AR side or the turbo is a .50!! THANKS

u could try like a 16G or 20G, GT28 with .43 hotside

im looking for something to have the same exhuast bolt pattern so i can use my exhuast that i already have.. and the only thing that would be the same as a t3/t4 flange would be a t3 wouldnt it... thanks

doesn't matter a T3/T4 is way to big for most any bike.

get a straight T3 with a .42 A/R

wuts the diff between a g28r and the straight t3?? and where is the best/cheapest place to get these turbos at??

fmfkid250 08-23-2007 10:54 AM

If it is a straight T3 flange already i would recomend a t3 flanged turbo,

why not a 3076R the busa's are running 35Rs and running good

The gt28rs is a bit more efficient than the straight t3/t04e turbo due to the design of the gt series exhaust wheel and ball bearing center section. they have much better spool characteristics. a gt28rs spools quite a bit faster than even the smallest t3/t04e but can still make about the same peak power as a 50 trim.

we carry the gt28rs. if you want check out the product on our website gt28rs or give us a call at 518-261-1790

yes but the zx10r is a 989cc bike the busa is a 1300cc bike thats a big difference
