You'll get better results if you have a .48 on the hot side. .63 would lag a bit.

I have the same turbo but with .48 exhaust side. 10 psi and it's barely moving, but next summer....it's go time.

that sounds i little big i have a t3/t4 60 trim with a .63 hotside a .60 compressor and a stage 3 wheel on a b18b and it doesn't spool until 5000 rpm. so you might want to go slightly smaller.

Try opening up your exhaust a bit. That's a lot of lag. I had the same turbo matched to my B18B and it spooled at 2000RPM.

sorry to take your thread, but I'm about to install the same turbo on my 2.3L accord. Do you guys think it's too big for me too?

That's actually a good turbo for 2.3L.

It really isn't that much lag at all. My car screams and I have the same turbo although with a 60 trim. Here is my setup if you are curious.

I am also going to be putting in a built motor in the next month too which is why I went with this turbo.

It was a DRAG manifold. We're talking spool up here but mine hit full boost around 5000rpm too.
