which turbo is better,, turbonetics t3/to4e 57 trim or the garret t3/to4e 57 trim??
which one should i go with here,,,,, my setup> 98 gsr/93 hatch full DRAG gen3 kit,, tial gate, eagle rods, je 9:1's, 3 inch dp, 3 inch catless exhaust, hondata 2b, 550cc injectors(soon to be upgraded to 720's) also installing aftermarket valvesprings and retainers, Skunk2 intake mani, looking for 15 psi daily and like 18 or so on the track,,,,, which turbo is better the garret or the turbonetics,,, and dont respond with the basic hondatech answer, turbonetics sucks, we all know thier engineers went to innovative and precision,,, but my point is the turbonetics celica and the solara's are enough to make me believe they still got hot **** so give me an opinion,,, also i believe the a/r on both turbos are .63 i think,,,,,, thanks

garret is a higher quality turbo, which will probably have a longer life.
turbonetics will fit better.

Why do you say this?
Masekja</TD></TR></TABLE>Because Turbonetics has a 5 bolt discharge and it is positioned slightly different so you don't have to wack as much off the block, the 4 bolt on a regular, Rev Hard, Inline Pro, DRAG manifold is positioned so close to the block and the slave cylinder you have to use 2 flanges on teh turbo manifold and/or cut alot from the block! art and Geoff posted pics in some posts in the past on it. I have seen it in person too.

Thanks Colin and Terry. I think my brain was somewhere else.
IMO, V-Band is the only way to go anyway.

I really would like to hear why you would make such a broad statement. I mean you must've had several horrible experiences w/ T-netics to be able to come to such a conclusion.

Turbonetics customer service sucks!! I had to wait 30 mins on phone to make a order!! Some of their turbos suck because the quaility of workmanship is pretty bad these days. They have huge auto contracts now, why would they care about us.
However the last time I called them was last year because I use Innovative turbos now.
