Re: turbo b16a best options.
you can get turbo's from a j/y for $40 and up the price will change from j/y to j/y.
then you just need to buy the blow off and other odd's and ends

well if you dont mind paying for it then why complain if its 3k, you get what you pay for in terms of reliability and performance....you can cheap out and get the ebay specials for under a grand then dont complain when the turbo craps out or if the manifold cracks...but before you boost be sure to do your compression tests and leak down tests to make sure you have a healthy motor to begin with...

ok listen junior member, you don't even know what a compression check is or does, i doubt you even understand what a compression ratio is or what it means if your engine has low compression numbers.
So instead of talking crap to people trying to help you when your the *** asking for help, listen to the god damn people and: go see a mechanic if you have no idea how to do it

the best route is to buy it all new, like a kit. the cheaper way is to piece a kit together.
Buy a kit and you have all the nesecities = ready to slap on
Piece together = takes longer to find good parts.
Do you have any idea what you are doing? You should research a lot.

I personally always buy parts and put them together, you end up saving alot of money....I think I have around 3k into my turbo setup, including my s300, injectors and what not..And I would drive the car any where in summer....
