Default turbo B16A in a 88-91 CRX

Hi guys, i live in France and i can't go to dyno because that's too expansive in my country, can you help me ?????
what are the most generally using fuel, ignition, and cam settings for this set up:

B16A1 engine
9:1 SRP pistons with SCAT RODS
FERREA VALVES
B16B intake manifold
B16B camshafts and valves springs (i can return to stock cams if necessary)
STR camgears at 0°
block guard
stock ignition at 13°
stock fuel pump with a boost fuel pressure regulator
turbo garrett t25 at 8psi with front mount intercooler and blow off valve
stock injectors
2 33Occ sub injectors with control unit box and MAP box
APEXI vafc
GREDDY boost controller
My engine detonate at low rpm and narrow throttle, run good in the boost, and when the vtec go on (5200 rpm) it lost all his power

what do you think about that? thanks a lot for your answers

Try adjusting the cam gears to "dial out" the overlap of the cams. You probably have a good bit of boost blowing through the combustion chamber because of all four valves being open too long.

Good luck!

The t25 is running out of breath at 5500 and the Vtec is making it worse.

Your best bet would be to change turbos. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but it really is your best bet. The t25 just cannot keep up with that B16 at anything over 5500rpm. Its like shooting yourself in the foot while running a marathon.

As for the low rpm detonation, adjust the vafc in the low band slightly richer and use only higher octane fuel. not sure what grades you get in France, but get the highest you can afford. Spend some money on a wideband O2 sensor and an EGT if you cannot afford a dyno. You have to tune it somehow or you will blow that engine.

thanks a lot for all your answers, what A/F/EGT gauges you advice for me?
In France we used 98RON fuel, my full pump is not be enough (40PSI) for my turbo engine, i'll buy a more stronger one tomorrow. Are you sure for the t25 power range? at 9PSI? at 14PSI? Can i control this with good cam settings ?
What you think about the MSD 6BTM ignition timing controller ? i need this ?
thanks
