Turbo B16 part 2
After selling my white hatch i've moved on to building this kit piece by piece for the new hatch. I have everything but a turbo now (one I bought ended up being to costly to repair) so hopefully in a few months I can save up enough to buy one and get it running Unless someone has a nice 5-bolt exhaust turbo they would like to donate
Here is some pics of it test fitting the IC and piping and the other parts..

Re: Turbo B16 part 2 (Dturbocivic)
This one has a fresh motor, larger IC, a clutch that won't slip, and in a cleaner car to start with. Other than that it's about the same. Depending on the turbo I expect it to make more power just not sure how much. The car weighs more so I think it should run the same times, or hope at least, until I can build the motor.

Lookin' good Matt. I knew you couldn't stay NA for long. I just sold my hatch this weekend as well and found a Captive blue shell in MD to pick up. It will be done correct w/ goals of 500whp. Good luck w/ the build. Later.

Re: Turbo B16 part 2 (orangerex04)
With all that shiny new name brand stuff you got there, might I suggest at least a $50 ebay radiator upgrade.
I don't mean anything negative, you may very well have a bigger radiator in your plans, but it seems like the tiny stock radiator you got there. After turbocharging my d15b vtec with a stock 92 cx radiator, the temp gauge would go up like a thermometer in hot water when I did wot pulls. Changed it for a plastic / aluminum 1" core off of ebay for $58 shipped and the gauge has stayed under the 1/2 way mark so far.
By the way nice car nice setup good luck.

A $50 ebay radiator uses the same core as a autozone dual core, which is nothing special. I ran my old setup on a stock but in good condition VX radiator with many back to back 11 second passes. No reason to upgrade unless it needs to be

Re: Turbo B16 part 2 (11psiTurboSI)
looks killer, ill be damned if our cars dont look just alike, i mean way too similar
its hard to tell, but yeah those are slipstreams in the last pic, it was NA then and an auto-X car back in the day!
good color!
and i have been making pretty big HP numbers on a stock radiator, so dont buy some 50 dollar ebay radiator, as if you didnt know this already!

It's 3 inch piping, no plans for a muffler at first. My old car ran open downpipe all the time, the noise didn't bother me just the fumes so this should make it a little quieter and less smelly
