turbo b16 exhaust question
i am confused i just got a greddy 18g turbo setup for my b16a second gen in my 95 hatch the questions i have are
1) what exhaust to get i want greddy but they dont have any that are 2.5 in diameter i dont want anything to loud either i want to order exhaust tonight some one please help

it doesnt really matter....before i went turbo on my b16 i had a loud *** straightpipe.....it was so loud you have no idea....BUT after i went turbo...it sounds quiet like a stock 1.8t vw w/ a bov. Any well installed turbo with no leaks...the exhaust will be quiet.

I've got the same turbo setup on my LShatch and I was running open downpipe for a while. Then I got a 2 1/2" apexi N1 exhaust and an electronic cutout from quicktime performance so I could run open DP from a switch in my car. I regret it. You lose a very noticable amount of top end power with a full exhaust even with a cutout. My suggestion is to get whatever exhaust you like and have someone fabricate a 1 foot piece of piping that can be taken off between your downpipe and your catback so when its time to race you can remove it and free up a shitload of power. After running open dp and now having a full exhaust i feel my car is slower and now i must spend more money.
