turbo 98 civic price
Hello everyone, so i will apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place, but i wasnt sure where to put it. I have a 98 civic with a fully built gsr motor. turbo, still has a/c p/s and everything. I am thinking about getting something more practical but i dont know of a fair asking price. It is in great shape, carbon fiber hood, tein flex suspension, brand new ITR brakes alarm with remote start and turbo timer. The car runs great, has 115000k on the chassis and 15k on the motor. Makes somewhere in the 300-350whp range. Again i apologize if this is in the wrong section but i am just looking for some input so i dont get ripped off or try to rip anyone else off.

2260 posts and you don't know if this is the right forum??? Where's the rest of the Intake piping to the intercooler? Tuned? Recipts?
HONDA'S ARE NOT INVESTMENTS... You are better off parting it out. Most people wouldn't pay EXCELENT CONDITION Blue Book for a modified Honda, especially Turbo'd...
BTW... Its not the right Forum... Try the marketplace with your add saying TW: My Civic...

Well i have never tried selling before . I am aware that its not an investment, its been worth every penny. The car has been a blast and still is, its just time to move on. I am in school and dont have the time to part it out and search out stock parts. The picture up top is while it was being built. I have dyno sheets at my home, but as everyone knows dyno numbers can be made to give almost any reading you want. The car is roughly the same speed at a stock porsche 997 turbo from 35+. When i find a buyer i will pool together all the receipts.

You should put it on autotrader.com if you want to sell it quickly. I have sold 2 turbo civics there for more than the highest kbb valye. There are many people looking on that website that aren't afraid to pay.

"Extremely doubtful" at best.
He's probably lookin in the ball park of 4500-5500, maybe 6k.
Honda's simply don't hold their value in modifications, they only hold their value in terms of their OEM system (body, interior, running, etc.). You can't just tack on what you put into it and subtract a little.

I completely agree, but 4500-5500?? That is insane. That is what clean non-swapped civics go for. Modifications don't add to the value, but an engine swap does. He is obviously not going to get what he put into the car, but he will get something more than just the price of a stock civic.
To the op: If you plan on selling it as is, bend over and be ready. If you actually want to make what you deserve off of the car, part it out. If you "don't have time" then don't sell it....
