Default Turbine Exhaust Studs??? Bolts Wont Clear DP - Can I stud it?

I just made my 3" d/p setup and I had to make such a tight radius bend right away that my downpipe is to close to the flange where it turns and I cannot place the bolts through the holes, there is a good 1/2" clearance so i know if I could find a stud (whatever thread and pitch these bolts are) that I could clear a nut no problem

Is there any problems with running a stud on the exhaust housing? Or will it spin out?

i thought a stud was the preferred method anyways. i cannot think of any reason why you shouldnt use a stud.

I use 4 studs on my 5 bolt flange, due to the tight turns of the 3"... Throw a lock washer on there and you'll be golden

8x1.25

Thread the stud in until it bottoms out, it should spin in, then the tension from tightening the nut on the other side holds it there.

I go to my local hardware store, they are about 3 inches in totall size. My exhuast housing has been rethreaded to 1/4 20, so I dont know what size you'll need.
