Tuning a turbo 06 civic si does anyone know?
need some help. My buddy just finish turboing his 06 civic si and it's has been sitting down for about a month now because it's not tune. He bought a brand new honda k-pro with 05-06 rsx type s harness thinking it would be a plug and play, but it doesn't work. He doesn't know what else to do. He wants to run 10psi. What other tuning device can he use?

K-pro won't work because of DBW. Not plug-and-play at least. The best bet right now is the AEM F/IC:

Looks like a good product, though I've heard next to nothing about people using it, seems like everyone OBD-II with DBW and CAN-BUS would be running this.

you could try the apexi neo also. Just an idea. Especially for that psi.

There is no Kpro for the Civic Si!!!
Best thing he can do is a piggyback. I would give greddy emanage ultimate or that AEM a try. What kit does he have on now? Are you saying he put a turbo on without even researching what EMS he could use?

yea i know there is no kpro for the si but this reputable tuner "frank smith" has done 3 other si's wiring up the kpro by cutting and suatering the wires back together he did do his research frank said he would do it but its getting hard to get a hold of frank since we live in south florida and frank lives in md and the greddy emanage is garbage
