Re: tuning

Depends how much money you wanna spend. My one buddy is going to JK tuning out in carlisle. A couple of my other buddies including myself always go to Joe at Pittsburgh Performance he tunes on crome and hondata. We have never had an issue with him always good tunes nothing less. Great guy too! I honestly recommend him.

Re: tuning

Evans Tuning has make crazy power on simplistic setups. Ive emailed Jeff back and forth with build questions and he is always very helpful and quick to respond. I would take my car to him but its 11 hours away from me. Check out his site for really good tech information. Evans-tuning.com

Re: tuning

Like he said Joe is real good and humble guy and anything you suggest he will listen to you. He tune my car at 29psi and 680whp pittsburghdyno.com

Re: tuning

That's me prices on Pittsburghdyno.com

My website sucks but gets the point across. I'm there in the evenings and some Saturday's by app. You can shoot me a phone call. 4128183007

My car count in tunes is getting close to 100 or so. Most of them budget builds. Haha (PVC+hose kinda shit)

Thanks guys for the good word mad discounts!!

Re: tuning

Good deal, yeah man Joe does a really good job! You won't be disappointed. I have taken a couple setups down there with some ghetto stuff and high high miles like 250,xxx and put 17psi in her and she ran awesome.

Re: tuning

thanks guys. im def going to joe. I hear great things about him. Every time i go to pittsburgh raceway there are alot of guys that has been tuned by joe. I learned my lesson on going to someone who doesnt know much about tuning the car runs ok but i know thier more power to be made.

Re: tuning

Id highly recommend you upgrade to neptune and have John Kerr From J-K Tuning tune your car. Highly regarded as one of the best in the country. Crome is way outdated

You say crome is outdated? It does the same exact thing as neptune just without the fancy features.

Re: tuning

Ive talked to some of the best tuners in the country. They say crome is not even close to neptune. Theres a reason non of the top tuners tune on it. For 100$ more than crome, you can get all the fancy Features and peace of mind. Just my oppinion and what Ive been told after inquiring about tuning on crome.

Re: tuning

I know here locally its hard to find a tuner that will mess with Crome, kinda like s100...they want to tune on either s300, neptune or ectune

fmfkid250 Mar 24, 2011 08:36 AM

Re: tuning

I really hate crome but its cheap and works ok on simple setups. The whole chip tunes in general are shifty. Jeff Evans doesent even deal to them anymore for that reason. If I turned down the Crome tunes our local guys would be putting VAFC's and FMU's back on there cars, or someone else would be picking up all the crome tunes.

I like AEM or Hondata S300 but not to many people want to spend that kinda money in pittsburgh. When I say that kind of money. I mean like an extra $595 vs a $20 Chip kit. I Have been dealing with J-K since 2004 Good Dude. I need to call him about getting some ECU's on stock up my shop.

fmfkid250 Mar 26, 2011 08:38 AM
