Default Tuned by Evans today... good ****.

Went today and got tuned by Jeff (boosted hybrid) Evans. The results were pretty sick and hes an awesome guy.

He managed to squeeze 321WHP and 200 Ft. Lbs. out of my stock block B16 @ 10PSI @ 8509RPM's with a cat. We were both pretty shocked with the power curve that it made. There was no drop offs in power even at 8509 and the torque was really steady at 200.

Hell of a drive, but well worth it. Keep an eye out for the dyno graph on his site. I'm sure he'll post it.

Setup:

FR Stage2 kit
CTR cams
AEM cam gears
Supertech Valve Springs and Retainers.
Cometic .074" HG
SKUNK2 IM
Hondata S200B
550CC Injectors

Just thought I'd share.

Impressive as hell.

At first we were only getting 271WHP but discovered that the wastegate was dumping off right near the air side of the turbo and was sucking in all those flue gases. Jeff moved the wastegate up towards the hood (because I dont have a dump tube yet) and bang, 50WHP just because of that ****. The .074" HG lowered my compression ratio by 1 point. I'm just running the 10PSI daily, but I have another car as my beater. I went in there only thinking I was going to just hit 300 or maybe 290ish. Then this guy Jeff pulls out 321 out of his ***. Killer tuner he is...

The way the power incline was on the dyno chart, he said If I were to bring the car to 9000 RPM that I would've probably made around 350ish. Thats ******* sick on a stock block B16.

Yup. I dont understand how people have a hard time making 300WHP on the Skunk2 IM.

Ya Cortney Green has been telling people for awhile now about making sure you have a long enough dumptube so that your turbo isnt sucking in exhaust gas. Nice numbers!

Amazing what not having an aftermarket EGR system will do for you! Nice job Jeff. Again.

Good numbers man. My fully built b16 makes 322 at 12psi with sc61 so you are making some good power, mine makes 230wtq though. Go get some track times

Fun doesn't begin till after 5500rpms. I'm guessing the 60-1 (according to FR website, thats whats on the stage II) is just to big? But then again, your revving to 8500 and power is still climbing

Can you tell us what the dialed in #'s are?
