Tune Uberdata/Hondata to Idle motor right without IACV on IM?
The new Intake manifold I have has no provision for the Idle Air Control Valve, and I was wondering, since I am running Uberdata, which alows you to dial in your idle, wold I be okay running without that valve, or would it idle bad or throw a code? any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Uberdata allows you to control your idle by modifying the stock IACV control. Remove the IACV and you remove the whole point of Uberdata's idle control slider.

Looks like you need to fab it on your IM and weld etc....Or else just put car in netural before the stop light while the car goes rooom-rooom-rooom-rooom-rooom, sucks driving in traffic like that, real jerky, gotta learn the tricks with gas/clutch.. Not good for daily driver in traffic..

You will have low idle during warm up if the IAC is removed.... besides adjusting the throttle stop, also advance the timing at idle to stablize it more.

You can make a car idle without an IACV. Cars without ECUs did it for a long time </TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks for the heads up. I knew it had something to do with idle....lol.
