trying to find a 3'' exaust/pics/comments on a 89 rex??

I saw a post a while ago on another site that entailed a 99,00 civic 3'' cat back would fit onto a rex? Is this crazy? any one ever attemp this? I have a ZC with a T3 and exaust is a 2'', want to up grade, would this be a total custom deal or what?
