Trying to decide between performer x and victor x Manifolds for my set up.
I've been doing a lot of reading on here and am still wondering what would be the most benificial for my set up. My build is:
ls/vtec
81.5 mm bore
forged rods & pistons 9:1 compression
gsr cams
built head
Garret 60-1 .63 hotside
3 inch dp and exhaust
Right now, I'm only revving it out to 8k, but after I get a new IM and cams, I'm gonna rev her out to 9k. I currently get full boost around 5k rpms. I was set on the victor x, but after doing more research, I'm not so sure anymore. I don't wanna sacrifice to much area under the curve for just a little peak hp gain, but on the other hand, I don't want to get choked up on top. Since I won't be revving out to 10k rpms, is it worth it to get the victor x, or would the performer be the better bet? I've tried looking at some dynos on here, but either the set ups aren't close to mine, or I can't see anything other than little squares for some reason. My power goals are around 430-450 on pump and around 500 on water/meth or race gas. Haven't decided yet. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Well if your looking to use this is a track car (1/4 mile) the performer X will give you more low end torque for getting off the line. the victor X will give you more top end power for a better overall power curve. the biggest thing to keep in mind is what you will mostly be using the car for..... hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. Any one else? This will primarily be a drag car that gets driven on the street from time to time.
