wow back from the dead. i bought this cam ages ago. didnt make any difference really. but ive been building anew engine the past 2 and half months.\

btw i got my 59300 cam CHEAP from atlanticspeed.com on ebay. it also came with a free t-shirt!

I take it you went the NA D route? Every motor I've seen thing on in person has made at least 15whp if it's a turbo motor

no i had a greddy kit on 10psi and it could of made power but i didnt feel any.. it would have been hard to feel 15whp i guess though..

but now im going to have a 450whp d16 by the end of this month.

really? Did you have it tuned or did you just drop the cam in? several people have told me with a similar setup to what you have/had to expect a minimum of 15whp by just dropping it in and even more if tuned all through out the power band. what other mods did you do?

i just dropped it in. it was just a 10psi greddy kit with greddy intercooler kit, bov, mbc, kteller downpipe, etc.

Yeah...thats what I was tryin to get at. Since the cam makes power to ~7800...the springs will allow you to rev that high and get that power.
the cam is only rated to make power to 7200 give or take!!

Yes you can - use a Y7/Y8 cam gear to correct the timing.
