(Tried a search) JRSC or Turbo in ITR?
I am quite sure that this has been discussed many times, but I will ask again anyway. I want to increase my hp by approximately 50, or maybe 60. There are some things to consider before I buy either though:
1. There is a shop about 2 hrs away that sells JRSC (in Germany...go figure) so they have a little experience. It is actually DC Sports, or at least a dealer that has connections with DC Sports in the States
2. I want to stay as stock as possible (I will be getting Hondata 3b or 4b, haven't decided yet) as far as internals are concerned. This means basically 0.4 bar from what I have heard. Is this possible with the JRSC.
3. I don't think there are many shops that have experience with turbo'd hondas.
All things considered, it looks to me like the JRSC would be the better deal, but you are the experts and I was hoping you could help.
Thank you in advance!!!

I don't know how much progress they've made with JRSC ITRs, but last time I checked, every ITR customer with a JRSC was STRUGGLING to reach 200 WHP. Most were around 190. Your 50-60 HP increase would be attainable with a JRSC but it's going to take some serious tuning.
I've seen no reason to believe JRSC is any more reliable or cost effective than a turbo, but lots of reasons to believe that you can make lots more power for the same money with a turbo.

Thanks for the quick replies!!
TurboR: What is your current setup if I may ask? How much boost, which Turbo kit and so on. Just want to make sure I do it right. It will take awhile, but you can never start learning too soon!
