Hey guys i'm in the market for a tranny right now to mate to my B18A1. I'm going to be boosting in the near future and i've read a lot of the back and forth arguements people have made in the past.

Well i have the chance to pick up a B16a2 tranny w/ about 50k on it with no problems at all. He is a guy that I know and he's selling it for 400, which is a steal in my book.

I have never experienced the B16a2 tranny, only the gsr tranny. A guy in this forum told me that it is annoying cruising on the freeway because it groans around 4k going 80 in 5th. My question is, is it really annoying?

I'm stuck.. On one hand I want a GSR tranny because its in the middle. On the other hand I have a great deal that I dont want to pass up but never experienced the groaning enough to hate it or brush it off.

Any help guys? What would you do?
