Default Which tranny for my setup. (LS-VTEC Turbo)

Im running a turbo LS-VTEC set up and am a bit confused on which tranny to go with. My B18a block consists of GE sleeves, Arias pistons and Eagle rods for the bottom end. On the dyno my tuner didnt rev it past 7500. I still have my stock tranny out of my 99 Si. Im about to get quaife , axles and a new clutch installed. My question is should I go with a LS tranny since ill be reving between 7500-8000 or just stick with my B16 tranny. Im about to get a quaife and axles put in, and im confused on what to do. I know the quaife works in both the LS and B16 tranny but I only wanna pay for the labor once if you know what I mean. I dont wanna get it all put in the B16 tranny and then decide that the LS tranny was a better choice. Thanks guys for your help, I dont know what I would do without h-t .

I would keep the SI tranny. I will be using an si tranny on my ls/vtec.

Nice numbers BTW. What size turbo and injectors?

Keep the tranny you have. Honestly, at your power level (the one in your sig) you're going to blow throw the tires in whatever tranny at any legal speed. That is if this is primarily a street car.

edit: forgot a thought

Thanks guys. Yeah it looks like the B16 tranny is gonna stay. Saves me a few hundred dollars cause I dont have to go out and buy a new tranny. As for my set up im running the MSD 72 lb injectors and for my turbo its a Turbonetics T3/T04E. As for the trim on it I dont have a clue. I bought the kit used from a guy in dallas. Back then i didnt know crap about turbos so i was just like ok ill take it. Thanks for all your help
