You're always going to have safety ****'s flaming people for high speed runs. We all know its dangerous.
But think twice about doing long boosted runs in 5th, especially if you have an LS tranny. The gears are long and thus places alot of load on the engine, and if your boosting it builds up alot of heat. I did a few 75-150+ runs on 10 lbs and melted ringlands in 2 of my pistons. But, that was like 3 years ago. Maybe boosted Hondas are alot better now.

Yea I'm not too worried about it. 4th gear goes to 145ish and that's a often occurance, but it doesn't take long to get there haha.

The pistons were JE, I think they were pretty good. But I think it was the tune that did it.

1) High gear, high load boosting safety is partially in the tune, partially in the amount of time you spend boosting.
Which leads into:
2) The more power you have, or the lighter you are, the safer it is to do high gear high speed pulls... you literally spend no time in 5th, so heat buildup is minimal. 350 hp in a light CRX is equivalent of 500 or a tad more in an Integra/DC5/99-00 Si. Pffft, you gear out in no time.
edit:
3) Light cars, generally, are not safer at high speeds. Most of the landspeed record cars have a good bit of pork on them to keep them stable. So, when I say safer in #2, I meant safer on the engine.
