Default Top mount turbo manifolds in EF/EDs; how well do they fit?

The more I look into turbo manifolds the more I want to build a top-mount. The only thing holding me back now is the thought of fittitng one in an EF.

Who here has a top-mount in their EF/ED? and how well does it fit? Post pics if you got em please.

I have a built D16Z6 that is NA for now (8.5:1 SRPs; eagle rods; Endyn block posts; .63 stg3 .5ar 57 trim T3/T04E; etc etc); It's BEGGING me for boost. At first I was going to botch together a log style to get up and running. Then i decided to build a ram-horn; but everybody and their dog has one and there isn't much of a challenge in building it; so I think i'll try a top-mount if it'll fit.

A local guy around here is having his dad make one for his CRX and they are having troubles making room for the wastegate.

Not sure how much that helps but CRX's have to be similar to EF's,

same engine bay so yea

and ext. wg fitment is gunna be difficult reguardless of manifold; but i've got ideas for that too if i deem a top-mount a go

Ive done some 90-93 integra stuff.
I have yet to fit one on an EF body, I dont think it would be a problem.

are the obd0 'tegs bigger engine bay wise than an EF? they sure look it but i know the engine is bigger too.

someone on another forum pointed that out; i didn't even realize it was an EF when i was searching around.

and nota; a top-mount is where you mount the turbo on top of the manifold instead of under it.

The one you made for me has plenty of clearence. I'm oprettyy sure it would JUST clear the rad support of an EF as well. The only tricky part is WG placement.
