Default Tony,Earl,Viren,Geoff and other master of building motors

I have some questions to ask: Is it possible to use an LS crank with stock rods and ITR pistons in a GSR block? if so, will the crank or rods would hit anything enternally? Like oil squirters and such? have you guys have done this before? and what do you have to do to get everything right. My friend have a 98 GSR and he took his car to one of his buddy to get his head port & polished and replaced the valvetrain. Then, when his friend put evrything back, they forgot to tighten the crank pulley bolt and it flu out and tore the slot of the crank where the keyways goes into. More likely the crank is no good. This is why I"m asking if its possible to put an LS crank, rods and pistons into a gsr block. I'm sorry for a long story.

Use GS-R main, girdle pick up and etc...but on the squirters, you may have a lil problem with the LS crank, just plug it up if you can.

How many inside joke do we have ? are we talking about the "catering truck thing " tony ? Art ?

I guess there's a lot of master of inside joke around here.
Stan, thanks for the info. Where can I get the plug for squirter at. Or maybe should I bend them a little bit so the crank would not hit them? I seen this guy on here with lots of pics of his B20vtec set up that he put those squirter and he had to bend them all to clear the crank. Here's the link:

you can bend the nozzles, but you still have to figure out the way to clear the bolt that holds the squirters down to the block. But you can try it to see if it can clear the crank by bending the nozzles...

if not, you can buy a set of freeze plug to plug the holes up, it's 6x1.0mm about 5mm deep, I'd say..

good luck

Those pics you posted...that guy actually had the crank hit the squirters while the motor was running. Blew the motor pretty quick actually..

The inside joke doesnt have to do with anyone in particular but everyone as a whole.

People think I can do it all when in fact I cant. Everyone has a weekness. Nothing wrong with addmitting you cant do it all.

Keep it real
