Nice, sleepers are always awesome. The 4 door should be moving nicely. Nice pics too

My B16 head is at the machine shop at the moment being inspected, I should get it back by Wednesday this week. I still need to prep the head for the b20/vtec Kit and port and polish it.

If you're turbocharging, why are you port/polishing? waste of time, really.. You're thinking NA again.

A friend offer to do it at no cost. He has done it for a few boosted Hondas and they have made good power not sure if the port and polishing helped or not. If it's not necessary then I won't do it, I just agreed to it since it's free.

I always thought that Honda had some of the best heads because of their high flow rates which is caused by their large ports - if he's revving high then how would a port/polish not be good?

It's not about revving high.. The difference is the concept of the had being an air pump itself.. You're not scavenging air and trying to use vacuum to speed up the intake and exhaust energy as it enters, compresses, combusts, and leaves the system: you're forcing pressurized air which molecules are already at high velocity.. It does not really help,v when you can increase boost pressure as little as .02psi..

This is specifically for b-series vtec / k - series vtec engines I'm referring to here... Whose cfm rates are some of the highest from the factory ever made..

If it were an LS head, or Cossie, that's a different story became their head flow cfm rates are easily 30% less than a VTEC head out if the box for turbocharging..

I've had several engines make as little as 20hp peak from over $600-$1500 worth of PnP work.. In some cases, when people do it incorrectly, they can make things worse..

Doesn't matter if it's free...
put the money / time towards better turbo parts and better tuning if you think more "flow" is necessary

Hey guys it's been a while since I have posted anything or updated my build. Life got on the way and there was a bunch of crap that happened but now its over and I am glad to be back to update you guys with my build.

I will start right were I left.

I got the Cams installed.

So I was going to originally use the stock B16 intake manifold, but came across this Skunk Pro IM with 70mm TB. Got from CL for 225 bucks great deal if you ask me.

I went and dropped off my valve cover at Inline Pro to get the oil pan and valve cover tapped. The also powered coated the valve cover. It came out better than I expected.
