TO4E 50 trim vs. TO4B 60-1
TO4E 50 trim vs. TO4B 60-1
which one of these turbos as a high potential of making more horsepower???
judging by the compressor maps, the to4B 60-1 flows more lb/min.
i am looking to purchase one of them...and really would perfer the to4B 60-1 because of fitment issues....
i have the f-max log style manifold in my 5th gen prelude and i was told anything bigger than an B compressor housing, and i will need to cut webbing off of my block...
btw, my ultimate power goal is 350-375whp with a full boost spool time of about 4000 rpms w/ enough to end to pull till redline(7400) in my case,
thanks

Re: TO4E 50 trim vs. TO4B 60-1 (graphic)
once again... this is based on my VW, now i understand that boost isnt linear...
this is just quick map to give you an idea on which turbo suits a 1845cc setup.
for low boost applications the 60-1 is a great turbo.
for 15+ psi applications the t04e 50trim wheel is an awesome compressor wheel.
i hate the 60-1 wheel... just an opinion.
