TO4 Type Turbines P , Q , GT-Q .
Hi all , I'm trying to find out some information about these turbines . A few people in Australia are also saying that Innovative turbo and Precision have a few specials ie 10 bladed P trims . Also saying that the GT-Q is a cropped (clipped) GT42 turbine though looking at dimensions I imagine a cropped GT40 turbine would be easier . It has been suggested that the GT-Q trim is a heavy thing and this stems some of its performance . Any real world comparisons ?
Is there likely to be a GT-"P" trim ?
Any pics to compare P to GT-Q would be great .
Thanks , Adrian .

The GTQ is a machined GT42 wheel. The shaft is also machined smaller to fit in whatever CHRA being used. There have been some issues with them but im not sure if its the wheel, shaft speed, assembly, machining or a pressure ratio issue.
I personaly think a stock P-trim wheel is better then the machined GTQ. Now a stock GT42 wheel is a whole different story. BAD ***!!!
As for Innovative, I think they are mostly using Borg Warner stuff. Very high quality and $$$$
