timing belt jumped off track! could the AEM EMS be at fault????
00 civic si turbo with aem ems, my timing belt jumped off track, i know u adjust the timing with the ems while running boost, could the ems have made this happen????

AEM only adjusts the IGNITION timing. Your CAM timing is dependent on your timing belt. Sync your cam timing again and check your tensioner, it probably loss tension and skipped a tooth.

timing belt + tensioner are adjust to oem specs. just dont want that to happen again!!!

WOW...
sounds like someone didn't follow the Helms manual procedure for pulling slack out of the t-belt. the AEM has nothing to do with cam timing or keeping tension on your timing belt

well...... its a stock belt that i have never even messed with. we went for a 2nd run and it just died.

i blew a tire, could it be cuz of my Air Spencer air freshener? omg....i think it smells so good my tire blew off to get closer to it!

Then adjust it correctly and/or replace the belt. Something CLEARLY wasn't done correctly. Timing belts don't just skip teeth. And FYI, there is no "track" that the timing belt rides on.
