Default Is this Tial wg a 38mm?

I bought this wg used and was taking it apart to polish the housing and have the body coated. I have seen people selling 35mm Tial's and was curious if mine was a 35 or 38mm. I took some pics to explain and so hopefully someone can clear this up.
All dissasembled:

The gasket that was used measures at 38mm

Flange where dumptube connects

Flange where it meets manifold

With the ring removed from the flange

35mm, tell by the top, and the discharge would be 38 if it was a 38mm, yours is 35, therefore its a 35mm

yea, yours is a 35mm. Have anyone ever port a tial 35mm to a 38mm? I am not sure if its possible to do, but it seems like it can be done

Actually thats what I am going to do. I am gonna port the opening and the exit to 38mm and polish the inside and piston head. Going for max efficiency.

its a 35MM.

one is the top is different. its a one 45 and then straight down. instead of "wavy" like most 38s

also 38';s have a bellmouth chamber at the bottom. kinda flared out like a tulip.

What all parts are you having ported? Do you have to get a larger valve or anything like that?

Let us know how it goes

hah... ill post pics when it is done. The end of the piston kind of has a ridge to it so im going to smooth that out and polish the end and the shaft. Also, im porting the inlet and outlet to 39mm and deburring the inside of the body.
