tial wastegate noise?!?
I just put in 38mm tial wastegate...boosting about 10.2 lbs...with open dump tube.
when im hitting boost above 4rpm it makes a loud ticking sound? is this suppose to happen? I have heard that tial wastegate is suppose to do that...and i heard from someone else that its because i have an open dump tube. Let me know thanx!

no...one mechanic told me that tial does this because the pulsating fumes from exhaust...like i said the noise only comes on when im boosting...cuz when i rev the motor no noise...please help its annoying as hell sounds like my motor blew or something

It's not normal, sounds like something that's resonating. Look for something loose or possible metal to metal contact with vibration.
