Default TiAL MVR issues with bwr dumptube.

Ok, I have a 44mm v-band MVR I also have a bwr "dump tube" this dump tube was a display model and didn't come with a box. The issue is the exit port of the MVR is considerably bigger then even the outside flange of the MVR! can I simply measure from side to side to find if its the 38 or 44mm?. I have a feeling I got the 38mm while my wastegate is a 44mm thus the fit issues. All these parts are brand new from one of the biggest shops(Teknotik) here in Toronto, I'm not question authenticity....

Moved to Forced Induction

Its probably a 38mm MVS dumptube which is why you're having fitment issues. Measure the inside diameter if you have a micrometer

A cheap digital micrometer is $10 at canadian tire, we have plenty of "tool stores" in Ontario

38mm = 1.5"
44mm = 1.75"

If you want to use a decent ruler

You simply have a dump time for a 38mm waste ate and not a 44mm waste gate

its definitely under 1.5...my WG port is "1.75" tho, so I guess we just solved this. thanks guys...had a feeling it was too small looking at it and have no idea about those couplers I posted in the first pic.
