tial 38mm wastegate
i have no boost controler, hooked the bottom nipple to the compressor housing and left the top empty(no fitting), will this affect the setup?

what if i blocked the top? or run the bottom with a vac line? my turbo stop spinning at idle and i'm afraid something simple like this will mess it up.

vac is vac but some vac have better response than others, that's why i blew my first turbo oil seals, i guess the stop at idle is normal for bigger turbos.

Re: (teddy_dc2)
you will get a little higher boost if you pull wastegate vacumm at the manifold but i prefer getting it off the compressor provides good response

my line is hooked up to a nipple that is on the hot pipe before the intercooler. about a foot down from the discharge of the tubine. inot problems here. holds 10psi exactly with a 10psi spring from turbonetics.

Re: (emotionisdead)
right..it will work fine either way on higher boost situations might be better to connect to the compressor to get around boost spike
