Curious if I am missing anything? I bought this for a good price used, and am wondering if I am missing a flange, or do I just weld the lower metal portion to my charge piping?

see those little grub screws with nuts on them? you loosen those and the bottem part slides out, then you can weld that onto your charge piping

yeah depending on what kind of material you are going to use for charge piping...find out what you have there and that will probably determine what charge piping you are going to use.

My charge piping is stainless steel, and the flange is steel so I should be all good.

I can't wait to hear this thing on my car. I heard one on a video of a turbo EP3 running 10psi and it sounded really nice.

Ive got one on my SRT-4, and its louder than sin. However, Im pushing around 22 psi right now, and it leaks horribly(stutters after around 15 psi). Time for an SSQV or TiAl 50mm.

How many washers you got in it? I have 3 local friends running RFL's on their modded SRT's w/4 sometimes 5 washers.. no leak.

Right, Tinker's got it. They leak like a bastard, which is never a good thing unless you're making 200 whp on a 60-1.

They do sound great. It's not worth the price of performance though.

You got it! leaks like a ****, on some of the used rfl bov it makes a real nasty metal scrapping sounds too. i got mine used for a bill, better look for used old skool hks bov instead

it comes with two material fitting, one is aluminun(which i used on my charge pipe) and other you can mig weld to your steel pipe if that's what you using

i've always experienced tons of leak with the RFL, same with friends. We all run at least 15psi though, i guess at lower boost levels it isnt a big deal. I'm still a Greddy Type-S fan.

mine dosnt leak @ all.. but maybe thats cuz im only running 10psi..?
