Default For those who run a Victor X IM..

I'm just curious about something I noticed last night when tuning the GSR. Naturaly as the revs climb things get a little louder (duh), VTEC comes along and the change in note is somewhat dramatic, but that's ok. What really caught my atttention after going through the gears a few times at the end of the night, was that the sound the car makes between say 7-8k is *ridiculously* louder than it is when the revs fall to ~6k after a shift. Now I know how this must sound, and yes I had my morning coffee, but I mean does anybody esle with a JG IM notice a drastic change in note when rowwing through the gears? Mind you this isn't a bad sound at all, it's a very deep/sharp growl, but I've never driven a car that sounded so completley different in a span of 2k rpm or so.

Just wonderin'

On a side note, 10psi + SC61 +3" turbo back = ...............*THUD*

I have an open dumptube, so I can't really hear the "intake" around those RPMs.

Just noticed it pulled harder after 6500 than before

Yea I mean the GSR pulls nice and hard over 6500 like you say, but then when I shift around 8k, it just feels like the car dies really hard and it's espeially noticeable because it's get's amazingly quiet. I mean the sound isn't really an issue per-se, I'll just dismiss that as natural to the manifold (and I love it actually lol), I'm just a little concerned with the big fall off after each subsequent shift. A/F logs aren't showing anything odd after the shift so I'll have to do more snooping around..
