Default For those who have T25 turbo's on their cars........or have experience w/them

How well do they hold boost for you at the higher RPM ranges? I recently bought one and I'm hoping this will be an ok turbo for drag and on the streets. What do you guys think?

Thanks

They are great for low RPM power, but for high RPM, a 14B is by far better.

I drove with a T-25 on my ZC running 10psi for about a year. It was fun, but it is really disapointing when the power dies around 6000K.

IMO, I would rather have a quick spooling straight T3 setup.

like mine... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

yah my T3 flows pretty good (T3 .60 a/r compressor, 60 trim/ .48 a/r turbine)

it's not the least laggy turbo, but it holds all the way to redline. right now i have it running of a TiAL wastegate w/o a boost controller and it spools up 6.5psi by like 4k rpm. When i put a manual boost controller on... i was seeing 8psi (what it was set at) by like 3k rpm. I think for a D16 the T3 60 trim is a good turbo. not too laggy, but it still flows decently... a lot more than t-25's and more than 14b's but a lil less than small 16g's

Ohh what kind of hp are you putting down? I want 12psi all the way to redline on my D. That's the goal. I dont know if the T25 will let me tho lol. ****, I just bought the damn thing too. luckily it was cheap. Ah well ill toss it on and see how it does.

I would look into a T3/T4 with like a .48 a/r turbine to get a quick spool.

I made 165whp/140tq @ around 5-6psi
this was with a stock cat and 2.5" downpipe and 2.5" catback, no boostcontroller (woulda helped spoolup time).

here's the dyno
