Default Those running a Golden Eagle OEM custom head gasket....Help?

I ran a search but couldn't find an answer. I figured most of us FI guys have gone through more than one HG so I thought I would try hear first

I ordered in a Golden Eagle OEM 84mm custom head gasket for my Ls/Vtec turbo setup. I received the HG but the package, which till has the OEM Honda tag on it says P30 as in B16 OEM HG. I was confused thinking I should be getting the custom LS HG, seeing as I have an Ls/Vtec w/ B18A bottom, and B16 head. I checked GE's site and they show the same HG for ALL B series regardless of head/block combo.

Can anyone confirm that I indeed have the right HG? Im thinking that the oil passages won't match up? I also purchased their Ls/Vtec dowel pins.

Please help!
Thx in advance

From the factory the headgaskets are basically the same. Just the dowel pin holes on the gasket that are drilled out are different between the non-vtec and vtec HG's. What GE does it drill out all four dowel pin wholes so you can run the gasket on either a vtec or non-vtec head.

So they are all the same, except mine would have the extar holes for the dowel pins.

Good to know. Sounds like I have the right HG then.

Thx!
