how much is retail on this system.
and what is the style for the 91 teg.
is it vertical to the front back or horizontal like the stock one is.

Anybody have mp3s or WAVs of how this exhaust sounds on a VTEC motor, preferably a 94-00 GSR motor? I have a supercharged sleeper, and I am looking for a somewhat quiet exhaust.
If it sounds right, I'll be in on the buy.

I am thinking the same thing. I hate loud exhausts. It could be somewhat louder than stock, but I don't want something obnoxious. How loud is it really? Some old threads give contradictory opinions.

crap....i bought the 5zigen turbo muffler from ben already (even tho. it's on backorder). From what I was told..just get 3" custom pipping and it shouldn't be loud...am I correct?!?

I've always read the Thermal 3" exhaust is loud. So if you're looking for a quiet exhaust this is not the way to go. However, I don't know if this exhaust is a bad loud, like some other exhausts.
Some exhausts might be loud as hell and sound like ****.. but from the research I've done this Thermal Exhaust is loud, but a good loud. I can't vouch for that personally, and I would also like to hear a wav of this exhaust on a G3 Vtec Teg.. or any car for that matter.

i dont know about the 3" (yet)... but i can vouch for the 2.5"... i had one on my gsr... w/ i an h... and i absolutely loved that sound... it had a very distinct sound and a very pleasing sound... i guarentee anyone who would get a thermal 2.5 on a b18c... that u would love it!

From what I've heard, the 3" exhaust in conjunction w/ forced induction, esp. turbo quiets down the sound alot. Hey, to get a full 3" STAINLESS STEEL exhaust that looks good, will last, and will perform for this price is a fantastic deal.

the 00-01 gsr exhaust is different from the 94-99....so i guess it needs to be modified for the 00-01!?

The difference is in the length so it's not an issue. You just have to buy a different length cat to have it fit.
