Thinking of Stage1 MS Action clutch... vs MD Stage 1 Action clutch
Kyle listed:
Order of toughness (holding power) (1 2 3)
MD MS KS
Order of smoothness
KS MS MD
Order of longevity
KS MD MS
I'm thinking of getting a Stage 1 MS clutch, what do you guys think?
I'll be ls/vtec by the end of June from the looks of it (machine shop delays) and I have future plans of turbo. Goals: High 12's daily driven grocery getting school working integra.
Do you think the stage 1ms will be able to hold the power I need for my goals? Does anyone have the stage 1 ms? what are your thoughts on it? anywone have the stage 1 md? what are your thoughts on it?
Anything I should know about b4 purchasing one of these clutches? ie. excessive loud annoying unbearable chattering? I'm a little bitch, and smoothness and comfort are quite important to me cuz i use this everyday.

I have the stage 1MS on my car and I like it.
It's not boosted yet (still breaking in the engine), but so far, I've had no trouble with it. It is surprisingly easy on the leg, but it grabs very fast. You'll definitely stall it learning how to use it, but once you've driven with it for awhile...no problem!
I have a cable tranny, so I went with the Stage 1 instead of the Stage 2 because I thought the Stage 2 would be too stiff. The pedal pressure for the Stage 1 is just a little more than stock...kinda makes me think I shoulda gone with the Stage 2.

Clutch was bought from Viren, I want to say it was $280, but I could be WAY off. It grabs HARD, but the stiffness is 100% streetable. I'd say its 100% stiffer than stock.
