Like the Title say's i need some suggestion's/pointer's. I'm new to the FI world, so any help would be nice. I was thinking about a t3/t4 setup on my Bserie's in My EK hatch. I'm not sure if i should do a custom turbo kit, oir just buy a complete turbo kit. Also, i would liek to know some background's on the turbo's like Drag, Greddy, Turbonetic's please. Like i said, Any help would be nice thanks.

if you don't know much about turbos... buy a kit... i think the time and effort consumed may outweigh the cost differences.

Yup and also to add that good tune will play big role in life of your engine.

Yes but the knowledge about your own setup acquired plus the money saved can't be beat. You basically end up paying more for being naive. Of course sometimes you just come accross deals to so its not always 100% true

Personally, I'd hate not knowing exactly what I have under my hood but if you could care less as long as its fast and runs well then more power to that person. Piecing together your own setup is part of the fun imo. Plus you get what is best FOR YOU.

A lot of kits come with parts you will not want and you end up paying more for those parts. ....I.E rubber oil return/feed lines or an fmu for fuel management when a standalone would be smarter and so will ss braided lines (you dont want a rubber return hose to kink thus ruining the seals in the turbo).... so if you do buy a kit still pay close attention to what it comes with.

for a cast kit the REVHARD is the BEST. and proven

for the nice manifold kit Peakboost seems to have there share of pricing and

performance and if you got $$$$$ GO WITH FULL RACE.

go to homemadeturbo.com and read all of the stickeys, get confused about everything, re-read, drink beer, get confused, finish the beer, start on wiskey, read some more, then pass out, and when you wake up, it will all hit you that a turbo kit is stupid, you can build a more reliable kit for the same amount of money, and be boosted safer than 99.9% of kits out there.
