Thinking about going turbo....Need some advice
I've been thinking about going turbo and need some advice on what kinda setup to go with to get me into mid-low 11's. I would also like to know the setups of you guys that are doing 11 sec times..even 10's..I know nothing when it comes to turbo.
My current setup:
93 civic hatch DX with B18b
JE 9:1 pistons, Eagle Rods, JG/Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley T/B,
Full Crower valvetrain, Skunk2 cam gears, Injen intake, Hondata S200
MSD Digital 6, Walboro 255 intank pump, DC header, LS tranny w/Quaife,
NOS Noszle direct port kit 150shot.
Best time with this setup is 12.3 @ 119.
What can I do diffently with this setup to go into 11's or what kinda turbo setup do you suggest I go with to hit 11's?
Thanks.

for one you can't have a DC header with turbo.
What manifold?
What injectors?
What PSI?
What exhuast.
Are you on Slicks?

how would he know those things... tho are directly related to boosting..
he ran what he did using a 150 shot of nitrous. not boost. so no, he doesnt HAVE to know. and he obviously doesnt since hes asking the question

go with a full race or custom
i am going back to boost from n2o only becouse i picked a rev hard kit for a dam good price
but think about it this way 2300lb car with 350 whp is a solid 11 sec car with a good driver and traction so do the math it will work out for you with boost
you already have the bottom end done with the lower compretion

Re: (bottlefedb18c1)
is it better to piece a kit together than buy one? I mean what are the best manifolds? what turbo? I don't know what size turbo...etc etc...
If you guys could give me an ideal setup with good manifold, what turbo and size, and does the piping size actually make a difference also?
Thanks for the replies.

if you want a bad *** setup
it would be a full-race manifold T4 sc61 with a To4S compressor housing with a .68 A/R
i used to have that but sold them and all i have left is a tial 46mm wg brand new
the turbo went on a crx that ran a 10.4 Brian XXX racing

And what is T4 sc61 mean and T04S housing with .68 A/R
Sorry for all the questions but I just wanted to do research and know what I might be getting into.
