thinkin about buying a turbo rsx...
my local dealershipe has an 02 rsx-s with 59xxx miles on it. It has a greddy turbo kit a few bolt ons. Motor seems to run pretty good, but the clutch gave out when I was test driving it. It has a nasty body kit and headlights/tailights, and would mind a repaint on the doors because the shaved handles are showing through. They are thinking about wholesaleing the car, and told me that a wholesaler offered them $11500 (this is before the clutch went completely, but it was slipping real bad). I think it is a bullshit offer, because they had tol dme the day before that they would take around 10k for teh car as-is with the slipping clutch.
Anyways, Im not sure exactly what to offer for the car. The dealership doesnt know a thing about the car and whoever had it before didnt know jack **** either because she bought it from her boyfriend the way it sits, and she is no longer in contact with him =/. The dealership offered to fix the clutch with a clutch of my choice for free, if I would buy it for $11500. But they also threw up the thought of just wholesaleing it the way it sits.
What should I look for since the car is turbo'ed? Minus teh ricey outside, it seems to be well taken care of. The interior is spotless and the engine runs good (even though I couldnt feel it pull because the clutch went out!) Taking into account the fact that i would have to replace the headlights, tails, bumpers and repaint, im not sure if $11500 is worth it. Ive also thought about offering to buy the car with the busted clutch and fix it myself.. I really dont know. Any suggestions?

megh i dont know, the shaved handles on a new car would turn me away. youll end up paying probably paying more to fix that one back to stock then to just buy a rsx type s and turbo it

Whats this world coming to, when ricers have access to bondo, paint, and a new car? We're all screwed, I tell ya. They'll be fubar'd before they can even rust out.
I'd tell them $7g or deal with the wholesaler returning it later.
