Think im going turbo, have a few Qs
well, my b18cR fell through so im probably going b16a, then turbo when i get the money. we actually own a volvo 740 turbo that my sis wrecked on the highway(women), and i was wondering what turbo manifolds the turbo from it will bolt up to. is it a good turbo for that motor? how fast does it spool up, and is there anything useful off the car. im actually not sure about the year but i think its between, 87 and 89. any good links for piecing together a good turbo kit too. thanks a lot.

Well the T3 from the Volvo will bolt to any T3 or T3/T4 hybrind manifold like DRAG RevHard, Etc. There are even the Weld-It-Yourself kits out there for manifolds that are pretty cheap if u can weld.
That particular turbo is prolly the 42/48 AR varity, with 45 or 50 trim. If you want to use that turbo, and it has too much shaft play, see my GB: T3 Cartridges post within FI here.

just wondering how hard its gonna be to take the turbo off? can i salvage anything else from the car? it kinda sux too, the motor had only like 20k on it. internal wastegate on that turbo? would it be good for a b16a? i was also curious about what rpm this turbo would start making power on a b16a and what kind of powergain/boost ratio for a turbo this size.
