well if anyone has been keeping up with my threads lately you know that my car blew a trans, then i replaced that, went to get it tuned and it was blowing coolant out of the reservior and it was overheating so i took the head off and found that a headstud was stripped. I bought a timeserts kit but the block cracked and broke when i tried to install it. So i got another block, notched and honed it. Ordered new main bearings, rings, arp headstud etc... Im outside now gapping my rings and what do i see, all four of my pistons (srp's) are cracked/melted on the top by the intake valve reliefs. omg....i hate my car so much. not to mention that today is my birthday and some ******* ran me off the road last nite and completely smashed in the right side of my only other running car.

i bet they are. They are both cracked and melted on all four. One is cracked all the way through the first ringland. i can't believe i didn't notice this before.

I have another block now anyways. the cylinders walls on the other block were scratched but not too bad.

DAMN, that sucks I feel you though cuase my car just took a sh*t too!!!!!!!!!!!Make a long story short, I raced, parked , went to sleep woke up,started my car, light smoking out tailpipe drove to work , finished work driving home, smoking like a train!!!!!!!!!!Got home pulled the spark plugs 1 o.k. 2 o.k 3 my eyeball staring back at me! (a pool of oil on my piston top! ) Oh yeah and 4 was o.k. starts o.k. runs and idles fine still has alot of power couldn't feel any difference, oh well back to the drawing board.
